I didn't watch the game. Hubby did. I was busy working on the area directory. Made some good progress but hit a really tricky part I'm trying to figure out.

Well, I won't be having the last word in a few days... I won't be around till either late Wednesday or even Thursday. Going on a mini-vacation to the Dells. Leaving tomorrow. Maybe I can catch up before I leave, but I'm not sure how much time I'll have on here...

Wonder how many people I would've killed by now, if I had telekinetic powers?

Mommy,

When I`m working on something and it gets to the point that I don`t know how to do it,, I get away from it a while.

When I come back to it later, things fall into place.

Works 9 out of 10 times.

We`ll not talk about that tenth time.

Oh, yeah, they definitely wear me out. Not that I have any energy to begin with between the fibro and the sleep issues. But they suck out every bit of reserves. LOL

Countdown to turkey day.

Woman cooked the turkey today, and made the dressing.

Tommorrow she will slice the turkey and put it with some gravy,

and make the pies and salads.

On turkey day, most of the work will already have been done.

When the crowd comes, she too can visit, instead of cooking.

She is one smart lady.

@Mythy: Aww, sorry to hear you don't get a day off.

Me, I'll be doing a small meal, just for us. No company coming this time and no traveling. Will likely spend as much time as I can working on the site since I told hubby I'm taking the day off except for essential housework and childcare. Smile

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I'm just about to join the traffic jam as millions leave the Bay Area to visit friends and family. We'll be heading to Ashland, Oregon to visit my Dad. He does the full blown traditional meal with stuffed turkey, gravy, cranberry and on and on.

The only difference is he gets a birthday cake for desert and they sing happy b'day to me. It was my birthday last week and my Dad has always merged the celebration of that into Thanksgiving.

I'll be off the radar for a week or so. Have fun!

Well, I'm back... have a lot of catching up to do.. not just here, but at home too. Thanksgiving..well... I brought a Turkey with me and we had a nice turkey dinner at the Dells... we had a lot of fun even though it started out to be the vacation from hell (more on that later)... then we got home at 2pm today and at 3pm we were invited over to my sil's Thanksgiving feast (she cooks so much more than me) and we stuffed ourselves there... tomorrow we're going to the La Crosse center to celebrate Thanksgiving there with all the festivities they put on...

Wonder how many people I would've killed by now, if I had telekinetic powers?

Been a crazy week for me... Hubby's been home all week. You'd think that would give me more computer time but it really doesn't. We try to catch up on so much household stuff when he's home that I hardly get to the computer at all. Sad
